About Randy Friendlander:
For more than 25 years, Randy has been helping clients achieve their goals by developing and implementing customized wealth management strategies that align with their unique circumstances, values and hopes for the future. He earns trust and builds long-term relationships by listening to his clients’ concerns and delivering a strong combination of investment management experience and exceptional client service. A believer in investing with discipline and diligence, Randy strives to structure personalized wealth management plans that not only manage risk, but also increase the likelihood of positive outcomes.
Having spent his entire investment career at Morgan Stanley, Randy is well-versed in the global resources, specialized research and world-class solutions offered by the Firm. He utilizes this knowledge to deliver the comprehensive capabilities of Morgan Stanley to his clients, giving them a premier advisory experience. Recognizing that wealth is often a family affair, Randy recently completed a program at the Institute for Preparing Heirs and is designated as a Family Wealth Advisor by Morgan Stanley’s Institute of Family Wealth Management.
Randy studied at the University of Florida and earned a dual B.S. degree in Mathematics and Political Science from the State University of New York. He earned his Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) designation from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1995 and his Certified Personal Wealth Advisor (CPWA®) designation from the University of Chicago in 2010. These designations signify Randy’s commitment to excellence, ongoing education, ethical standards and a higher, more holistic level of service that takes into account each client’s full financial picture.
A U.S. Navy veteran, Randy lives in Pompano Beach with his wife. They have two grown children. Deeply committed to community involvement, Randy serves on The Planned Giving Advisory board of Nova Southeastern University Professional Advisors Council. Previously, Randy served on several non-profit boards, including the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Southern Florida, the Jewish Community Foundation of Broward and the Planned Giving Council of Broward. A fitness enthusiast, Randy has participated in a number of marathons, including the Boston Marathon, and is now focused on triathlons. He finds that training for endurance sports is very similar to investing – both disciplines require consistency, process and a plan.
