HANDY provided a Thanksgiving dinner to the children they serve and their families. Our Rotary club helped set up the event, served the food at the event and helped clean up after the event.
The Rotary Club of Fort Lauderdale Cypress Creek has adopted 10 children at Liberty Elementary School in Margate Florida and delivered our first set of weekly bags. In addition, we delivered 15 Boxes of Hope. Each box feeds a family of 4 for Thanksgiving.
On Saturday, September 23rd, Rotarians gathered at Ritter Communications to label the dictionaries, which are now ready for distribution to 3rd graders at local elementary schools.
